FAQ - Banksia Park Estate

Am I able to book in earlier than 2:00pm, or check out later than 10:00am?

Please contact us should you require an earlier check in or late check out. Where possible we will endeavour to meet your individual requests.

What cooking facilities are available?

The Banksia, The Isla, The Kiah and The Heath are equipped with a small kitchenette within the suites, including a microwave, toaster, kettle, bar fridge and tea and coffee provisions.

Do I need to bring linen?

Banksia Park Estate provides all linen and towels for your stay, however we do not provide beach towels.

Can we walk to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and hotels?

Yes, all within a 10-20 minute walk from Banksia or a 3-5 minute drive, located in San Remo and Cape Woolamai. There are two hotel pubs located at San Remo, as well as a tavern in Cape Woolamai

Are there any bike or walking tracks nearby?

Yes, there is a bike track that runs along Phillip Island Road, opposite Banksia Park Estate, behind the Phillip Island Information Centre. Head west to follow it all the way to Cowes, or head east and you can get all the way to Wonthaggi.

Can we invite our friends when staying at Banksia Park Estate?

If you would like friends to visit you at Banksia Park Estate, you are required to gain prior approval from us first, with all approved visitors to sign in at the office upon arrival, for safety reasons. We ask that no more than two visitors be present at any time, with visitors to leave the property by 9:00pm out of respect for other guests’ privacy.

I’d like to run a retreat at Banksia Park Estate. How many people can you accommodate?

Banksia Park Estate welcomes all types of retreats. We can accommodate Retreats utilising the Haven booking option. ‘The Haven’ provides guests access to all of our accommodation suites, The Banksia, ‘The Isla’, The Kiah’, and ‘The Heath’. With exclusive access to the expansive accommodation and grounds, use of the common room with a spacious kitchenette, living and dining room, 'The Haven' is perfect for groups wanting to make use of all Banksia Park Estate has to offer. Perfect for large families who would like separate rooms, friend groups wanting to getaway together or people wishing to host retreats. ‘The Haven’ can accommodate up to 10 people in various room and bed configurations.

Can we bring pets for our stay?

Unfortunately Banksia Park Estate cannot accommodate pets due to the extensive wildlife that roam our property.

Do you accommodate hen’s parties, buck’s parties or other parties?

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate parties of any type.

What are your office hours?

Our RECEPTION HOURS are not fixed, so please advise us of your expected arrival times. Out of hours checkins can be arranged with prior notice. For urgent matters we are contactable on 0420618873.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we do currently have satellite Wi-Fi.
